Rick Rupe
Owner
Rick began his insurance career in 2005 focusing on commercial coverage. After moving to Utah in 2006 he transitioned into personal insurance where he worked with multiple companies and gained a deep understanding of how to meet different customer needs. Along the way, he realized that working for someone else often meant limited options for clients.
In 2011, Rick founded 1 Stop Shop Insurance with a simple mission—put customers first. By running his own agency, he could offer a variety of insurance options, making it easier for every client to find the right coverage at the right price. More than a decade later, that commitment to personalized service is still at the heart of the business.
Outside the office, Rick enjoys musical theater, cheering on his grandkids at their games and activities, and traveling, with Hawaii holding the top spot on his list of favorite destinations.
Kim Lo Forte
Operations Manager
Kim has a passion for working with small businesses and helping them succeed. With a Master’s in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, Kim combines strategic thinking with a sharp eye for detail, ensuring processes run smoothly and clients receive the best possible service.
Her career spans roles in operations, client relations, and small business strategy & marketing, including successfully running her own business for over 10 years. This experience has given her a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to deliver tailored solutions. Kim is known for her approachable style and commitment and is proud to work with the 1 Stop Shop Insurance team to create an experience where every client feels valued, supported, and confident in their coverage.
Kim is often on the sidelines or in the auditorium cheering for her children, or embracing her passion for graphic design.
Melissa Nutt
CSR
With over 20 years of customer service experience, including the last five years dedicated to the insurance industry as a CSR, Melissa understands the value of clear communication, efficiency, and genuine care. Her goal is simple: to make your life easier and your day a little brighter, while ensuring you have the coverage and support you need.
Melissa is a proud wife, mom to four amazing kids, and best friend to her sweet fur baby, Coconut. She loves to travel, especially when it involves exploring new places or setting sail on a cruise.
Jackie Canfield
CSR
Jackie is a licensed insurance professional with over 10 years of customer service experience and more than 7 years specializing in personal lines insurance. She’s known for her approachable, client-focused attitude and her ability to make the insurance process smooth and stress-free.
Whether assisting with policy changes, answering questions, or helping clients understand their coverage, Jackie is dedicated to providing clear communication and dependable support. Her goal is always to ensure each customer feels confident and cared for every step of the way.
